Whittaker’s Hazelnut Chocolate Slice

Ingredients

  • 2 packets of wine biscuits (250g x 2) – crushed up
  • 1 can of sweetened condensed milk (395g)
  • 200g unsalted butter – melted
  • 2 Tbsp golden syrup (or maple syrup)
  • 2 blocks of Whittaker’s Hazelnut Chocolate (250g x 2)

Directions

  • Mix together crushed up biscuits, melted butter, golden syrup and sweetened condensed milk
  • Press firmly into lined rectangular base
  • Melt chocolate gently in the microwave or on a double boiler
  • Pour melted chocolate over biscuit base and refrigerate for a couple of hours (at least) before cutting into squares
