Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups butter
- 2 2/3 cups sugar
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 1/2 tsp nutmeg
- 2 tsp vanilla
- 3 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 1 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 4 eggs, beaten
- 2 cups raisins and/or chocolate chips
- 4 cups rolled oats
- 2 2/3 cups flour
Directions
Cream together butter and sugar. Add spices and vanilla. Beat in eggs. In a separate bowl combine flour, oats, salt and baking soda. Mix wet and dry ingredients together. Mix in raisins/chocolate chips. Spoon large clumps on to a pre-greased baking tray. Bake at 350F for 12-15 mins.

These cookies are great. They are the first cookies that my mom has ever made that have not burned to the pan or a crisp. The cookie dough is absolutely delicious. The cookies them selves are delectable. I Highly recommend them to everyone who likes cookies!
